Where do you find Loose Fill Asbestos?
We specialise in the surveying and removal of asbestos loose fill from all types of buildings.
If you suspect that you have found this type of asbestos and need it confirmed, removed or both, please get in contact and one of our friendly team will discuss the options and what needs to be done.
What does it look like?
This is a loose, fluffy insulation material (similar to candyfloss), which may be blue-grey or whitish in colour.
The best advice if you suspect that it even could be asbestos is to contact us and arrange an asbestos survey to either confirm or eliminate it.
We will be able to advise you exactly what your options are, and if it is confirmed as asbestos loose fill material, we can remove the contamination quickly, safely and efficiently at an affordable cost.
Asbestos fibres are at their most dangerous when they are airborne and therefore can be breathed in. If you find or suspect you have found it. Leaving the insulation undisturbed until we can survey and test a sample greatly reduces the risk of exposure.

How dangerous is it ?
Probably the most dangerous asbestos containing material.
This type of asbestos material must be notified to the HSE upon its detection and handled / removed only by fully licensed HSE contractors, of which we are.
Loose fill is made up of pure asbestos and if disturbed can release large amounts of fibres in to the air, where they can be breathed in.
